Lucknow : The Lucknow Golf Club witnessed an extraordinary day of golf as the seventh day of the Lucknow Golf League-2024 unfolded amid challenging weather conditions.
A tempestuous mix of wind, rain, hailstorms, and thunderstorms added an unprecedented twist to the league, testing the mettle of the players who displayed remarkable adaptability and determination.
Today’s weather threw a curveball, with hailstorms and thunderstorms leading to the suspension of the game twice by the Match Referee to prioritize the safety of the players.
Despite these challenges, the organizing committee, Marshals, and Referees demonstrated commendable coordination, ensuring the smooth flow of the game as the players contended with the unpredictable elements.
The action-packed day commenced with a face-off between IPL Warriors and BBD Rangers. The match ended in a draw, showcasing a stellar performance from players on both teams.
Vishwas Swaroop Agarwal, CA Nitin Khanna, CA Sandeep Das, and Anoop Kumar from IPL Warriors, and Naveen Charan, Anand Kumar Shukla, Vinod Kumar Singh from BBD Rangers emerged victorious in their respective games.
In the second match, Ramswaroop Tigerz roared to victory with a resounding 4:1 scoreline against Amazing Origins. B. D. Naqvi, Saiyed Faisal Asad Husain, Vikram Bhargava, Ajay Bhasin, Sandeep Kalsi, Somesh Bhardwaja,
and CA P. K. Dhawan from Team Ramswaroop Tigerz displayed exceptional prowess, securing wins against Raghav Jaggii from Amazing Origins.
The third and final match of the day witnessed a closely contested battle between Speed Chargers and Dabang Daredevils.
Speed Chargers clinched victory with a 3:2 scoreline, featuring standout performances from Shiwa Sagar Singh IPS, Divij Narain,
Siddarth Ahuja, and Aman Tandon, while Rajneesh Sethi, Ashok Bambi, Prem Prakash, and Gautam Chopra from Dabang Daredevils secured wins in their respective games.

• Game 1 saw B. D. Naqvi of Ramswaroop Tigerz defeating Uma Nath Singh of Amazing Origins with a score of 4.
• The battle in Game 3 between Haarsh Srivastava & Vikram Sabharwal from IPL Warriors and Anand Kumar Shukla & Vinod Kr. Singh of BBD Rangers was won by Anand Kumar Shukla & Vinod Kr. Singh of BBD Rangers with a score of 5:4.
